Kate Hudson and Ann Taylor Keep Classic Fall Pieces Fun

Kate Hudson’s fall ad campaign for Ann Taylor has been out since late July, but every time I see the ads I am reminded of how genius these outfits are. My favorite ensemble modeled by Ms. Hudson is the Maven Leopard Jacquard Ankle Pants and Lane Striped Shirt, pictured below.

While the pants make a statement on their own, Ann Taylor kicks the look into high gear by pairing it with a classic button up shirt. Here’s a close up look of her outfit:

This fall’s trends are all about mixing and matching classic stripes with fresh prints or textures. As temperatures continue to drop, we all need a little inspiration for keeping our wardrobes up to date and seasonly appropriate. For me, I tend to be drawn towards preppy styles, such as blazers, button up dress shirts, and boots, when fall rolls around. Both pieces are $98 on Ann Taylor.com, which I know is out of most people’s budget, including mine.
